This is the last day of the year. Impossible to close the year before having said a few words about the crew.
Bernard is not a mutineer, but a real great Friend. We are sailing together for most than 20 years and have only good souvenirs! At our beginning, we were almost
considered to be the shuttle sailing boat from Breskens or Zeebrugge to Ramsgate, London and others UK East coast rivers destinations... Every week end summer or
winter, we enjoyed the brown North sea. Bernard, you can rely on him at Sea or on Land... His helming skills (at sea and on land)are valuable qualities that only a
few can demonstrate.
Loïc is not only a student thinking of parties with his friends, but he is my Son! Loïc and myself are sailing together since he is 3 weeks old! Never seasick,
always ready to be part of the adventure. While sailing Loïc developed great skills . I won't name them her otherwise he will get a "dikke neck".
A sailor with character and a tender heart. A reliable crew member you appreciate to have on board during tough moments. At night during his watch, Loïc is on duty
and he will do the job as you would do it yourself or even better.
Neco: this is the autopilot! This is the 4th man on board! Despite his old age, doing an unexpected great job 24 hours a day! Even the last 48 hours in the
Butterfly configuration. Only disadvantage , he is voracious of electricity.
Fred: Unfortunately not on board due to family reasons. But was foreseen for this Ocean passage. Don't worry Fred, other great sailing moments together are still
yet to come.
Mireille: RIP
The Girls and the Ladies in our hart: These special creatures deserve a chapter on it's own in a future information bulletin.
About sailing: We are really speeding and can't have other activities . We are concentrated and being also quite vigilant regarding tear and wear of all crucial
components suffering. regular inspection and reparation are part of our daily check list.
