Hey Hey It's Saturday

It's the weekend! After a very tough week of
sunbathing, sleeping and looking for shooting stars, we are all most relieved
that the weekend is finally here.
Today saw the third incarnation of the dorado we
caught, this time in brilliant fishcakes painstakingly prepared by our resident
fishmonger and chef extraordinaire Neil, and consumed within seconds by the rest
of the crew. A fantastic meal, but alas a lot of washing up for fellow
motherwatch Scott!
Very light breeze and overcast today, so not ideal
for sailing, and along with most of the fleet we're looking at a slightly longer
to St Lucia. This would be fine if it were not for the lack of bacon and
lettuce; no more BLTs! Still heading down to Cape Verde and hoping to pick up
pace once we catch the trade winds.
Lovely warm night last night, with nightwatches
completed in just shorts and shirts, and life jackets too of course.
Stunning pink sunset this evening, and as an extra
special Saturday treat Skipper has declared it movie night; radar switched on
and the crew about to get settled around the laptop with the pick 'n'
mix. There are rumours that a beer or two may have been put in the
fridge as well....!
Finally, Neil says
Hi Ros, got your second email fine thank you and looking after the foredeck for
you!
Over and out from a happy healthy
crew,
Ninky
