Tranquilizer
Sail Ionian

It's Friday night, so I'll have to keep this quick people - places to go, people to see!

Not really... Instead, Rob and I (as today's motherwatch) are busy preparing chilli con carne for the crew. We may be down to tinned food, but I have to say it is looking pretty good!

Blue skies again today and good sailing, although, as forecast, the winds are dropping off now - the rum punch is calling to us, and the fact that the skipper has run out of tobacco may possibly have something to do with way we speedily overtook more yachts last night and today.

Scott spotted a turtle on our starboard, which then started spinning in our wake like a fairground teacup ride.

Whilst drying up after lunch we also suffered a rogue wave which came pouring through our starboard hatches, soaking the saloon table and meaning all the bowls and plates, sitting on the table ready to be stowed away, had to be dried again.

Other than that, not much excitement!

Steadily making our way to Rodney Bay, bets have been placed on what our arrival time will be, and tomorrow may well be nearly our last full day on Tranquilizer. (T 2 da Q) Very strange to think we could be on dry land soon, standing on ground that doesn't roll around continuously...

Off to serve dinner!
