Tranquilizer
Sail Ionian
Sun 24 Oct 2010 08:46
As the sun rose to another beautiful day, we are still plodding Westwards
under engine, We did try a little Jib to help us along, but the wind did not
quite have the energy to fill the sail, So it was furled away, and we
enjoyed a day lazing about in the cockpit, in shorts and T shirts, enjoying
the sun. George (the Autopilot) doing most of the work, Sue took on the Role
of mother watch with a gusto, and started off with a lovely omelette for
breakfast, Rolls with all the trimmings for lunch, and a gastronomic delight
for Dinner, Beef casserole, veg, and Roast Potatoes (what on a yacht you
ask!) which was delightful. The night watch was lovely with a bright silvery
moon lighting up the sea, which was like a mill pond. Just before dawn we
were approaching the Island of Mallorca, the moon slowly disappeared behind
it, (yes the picture was the moon setting not the sun rising.) So ends
another 24hrs with Tranquillizer living up to her name
