The jive was jumpin' last night. Big old Atlantic rolling on by. All aboard on the look out for a lay-by and a Little Chef - it would be nice to pull over for an hour or two!!

Mild excitement at 4am when a squall hit and the winds blew 30 knots. Claire was on watch and down below we noticed the acceleration and leapt to assist. Six Cubes Crook (aka Steve who is partial to sweet tea) and Shake-a-leg Fortescue (aka Skipper who was late for his watch the other night) mustered on deck to adminster a quick reef in the sails. The fair damsel Claire was back under control in a trice, and the sight of 2 grown men splicing the mainbrace in their boxer shorts is being added to the log of wildlife sightings on the voyage!!

1500 miles on our straight line to go - hoping to be half way there by the end of the day
