Saturday - Another gorgeous day has dawned over the
Atlantic. Laurence has passed the "real man crosssing an ocean" initiation test
- he got walloped on the side of the head by a flying fish on watch last night.
Luckily though, just a glancing glow. We had a lovely restful day yesterday,
needed all round as the excitements of Thursday's mast climb has left us feeling
a little fragile!!
1700 to go miles on our straight line and the winds
are great to help us keep up pace at 8 knots, even without the Genoa.
Winds still too strong for the parasail, but never
say never! At the moment the wind and our course are on the same bearing but
we're not able to sail on a dead run. We're managing to sail about 20 degress
off the wind, gybing every 2 days to keep St Lucia in our sights
