Sunday 8.30am Tilly Mint time and 12.45pm your time. We've woken up to another glorious morning, cotton wool clouds and a bright blue sky. Sea temperature 27.2 deg C. Water water everywhere and not a drop to swim in! A mere 309 miles to run, arrival estimated in 39 hours, so 2 days and one more full night at sea. We are counting the miles down but we know we'll miss them when they're done.

Bit of a to do last night when the wind suddenly increased and veered around causing  a tincy wincy crash gybe. The ever alert men in undies where on deck in a trice to sort out the crochet knots in the rigging. Meanwhile down below Immy was woken by the slamming boom and in a curious run of events managed to turn on the dvd player as she scrambled out of bed. And here's the funny bit - the littles had been watching Apollo 13 and the dvd sprang into life with the immortal line - "Houston we have a problem..."   Odd though, there was no sign of Tom Hanks up deck and we didn't need to alter course around the dark side of the moon
