Day 6 dawns, seas are at their gentlest today but the rocky rolly swell doesn't go away! Winds are NE Force 5 and we're doing 8 knots with Stanley & the main, and hoping for more from the parasail today. Our straight line to St Lucia is now 1884 miles long, in a couple of days we hope to be half way there.

The days go by surprisingly quickly, mostly because the simplest tasks take ages in the tippy rocky conditions. I find the fridge contents incredibly socialble - every time I open the door they leap out with great enthusiasm to say hello. I was especialy touched this morning when a whole plate of ham & salami flung itself at my feet. I'm looking on it as an act of hommage.

More flying fish landed on the decks overnight and Steve had a real live bird for company overnight (and I don't mean his good lady wife, Claire!)

More news and photos later - time for breakfast
