Still motoring - the wind has dropped to about 3 knots, so the Bay of Biscay is now more like a mill pond than a fearsome sea.
 
Woke up for the 5am watch to watch a stunning sun rise, embellished by a pod of dolphins cavorting in the bow wave.
 
Fishing rod out, but not a nibble yet. Plus ca change!
 
We think we saw a Minke whale yesterday evening. A fin was spotted, seen again and validated by a second opinion about 100m off. It was too big to be a dolphin. In the absence of evidence to the contrary we have claimed it as a whale.
 
132 miles to run to La Coruna, so we should arrive at first light tomorrow morning - allowing us time for a shore based breakfast and lunch before Stuart leaves and Olivier joins.
