The next series of pictures are all of the bad weather, Starting at a force 7 it increased to a solid Force 8 for about 6 hours the highest sustained wind recorded 41.7 knots….. or in layman’s term BLOODY NORA.
The next set are happier times, maintenance dolphins, a shark, a new painting by Norma, broken bits of the boat and an icky one of my finger
And then the dolphins came out to play
They loved the surf
It’s funny but when the dolphins are around you can forget all about what went before
In calmer weather Jen and Paul service the main mast winches while the oileys dry on the rail
Adamant doing his astro navigation
Steve pushing buttons again
A very large shark tracks our course. Jen declined a second swim
Paul and Steve repairing the stay sail sacrificial strip
Sunset after a stormy day.
The broken fore stay deck fitting, fractured right along the weld line
My finger after it had a mauling by the fore stay
Norma’s picture for her sister of Loyalist beach in the Exuma national park Bahamas
