13th November 2014

Tenerife San Miguel Marina to Sal Cape Verdes

Still 2137 miles from Ramsgate by Log.

Tony and Steve arrived via Easy Jet on Tuesday evening and we took them straight down to Santa Cruz to get our clearance paperwork all signed up. They managed to bring a bit of the English weather with them as it was raining when they arrived and the wind went into the South!! Anyway things have settled now, a bit too settled to be honest as the wind has gone light but we are ready to go. Steve is doing last minute checks on the water maker, Tony is finding his way around the boat and the last food mountain has been stacked away. All we have to do now is fuel up and were off.

Last night we had our last meal in Tenerife so it was out with the crew T shirts again and into town. Rather fittingly we ate in the same restaurant that we had our first meal in so it is goodbye to Tenerife and onwards and downwards to the Cape Verde Islands. 762 miles to go so it should take about 5 days… I will update every couple of days when I link up for our weather report downloads…talk to you soon.
