Thursday
2nd December Hot,
hot, hot today. A lazy, reading, lounging sort of day for
most. Sue
made gougeons of the remaining fish for lunch and Jonathan and I, the confirmed
non fish-eaters, actually tried a small piece each (and then continued with our
pizza). We both concluded that whilst we’re not converts it tasted pretty good
and we survived. The main thing was that we had lots of laughs along the
way. This
evening we had a pub quiz with Tranquillizer by radio. They did very well but
were beaten by the better team. (We’ll be interested to see their version of
events!) Tomorrow
is a BIG day. We hope that early evening we’ll be able to celebrate the half-way
mark (in miles) of our journey. The Trade Winds are due to arrive soon so
hopefully the second half will be quicker!. Tony |
