Opua

Between the last entry & April 2010 the blog has not been updated.

“ Moonshadow” sailed back to Fiji in April 2009 and we explored the wonderful Yasawa Islands for seven weeks in the summer. In October she returned to Auckland to avoid the cyclone season in the tropics and has remained here since then. We have enjoyed the generous hospitality of both Ngaire and  John ,  and Kerry and Jenny, and Claire and Ian and  loved our travels throughout both the North and South Islands.

Today after a relatively easy sail from Auckland to Opua  we are preparing the boat to leave New Zealand and start our next long leg to Cairns stopping first at New Caledonia. We plan to leave on Wednesday 28^th April.
