We abandoned our plans to scrub the hull to remove accumulated weed as the sea had got up in the night. We sailed off to Ko Muk the site of the World famous" Emerald Cave" This is a large cave that has collapsed in the center of the island
leaving a large hole open to the sky where trees grow and a beach forms. This is known as a "Hong" and was featured in
one of the James Bond films. Pirates in the past used to hide their treasure there. We anchored for the night which was
very rolly and then dinghyed around to the entrance to the cave. On with snorkling gear and with a waterproof torch we
swam through a small cave 80 meters long in the pitch dark and emerged in a beautiful white beach in the center of the
island with soaring cliffs all round us. Beautiful!
