We woke with the sun and cast off lines heading south for the first time in over three months cruising. In one short overnight passage we were back at Telaga Marina clearing into Malaysia again and topping the diesel and water tanks. Once these chores were completed we left for Rebak and began the long list of tasks needed to leave Moonshadow in her slip for the next two years.

The crew went to dinner at the Hard Dock restaurant at Rebak Resort Marina and made an Herculean effort to finish a box of red wine so it wouldn't go to waste. Even Yvonne drank some red wine for our last drink together in Rebak. We toasted our success and wonderful journey together,

On the morning of the 19th, we motored back to Telega Marina to clear in with the Port Captain and drop Mike off for his flight home. Yvonne stayed behind and did laundry for the boat's many seat covers and linens. We shared photos with each other and said 'goodbye' after Mike's many weeks as crew aboard Moonshadow.

David and Yvonne then bid farewell to Peter when he left Moonshadow for the airport on Sunday afternoon.

As the author of this entry, I think I speak for all the crew (Paul, John, Chris, Liz and Ruth, Julian, Mike, Yvonne and David) that sailed with the fabulous "Moonshadow" over the last three-plus months in saying a hearty and sincere "Thank You!" to Peter for inviting us to join him on the sail that has left us all with memories for a lifetime. David

Yvonne and David stayed on the boat for two more days before their flight home.

David experienced a slight bit of the blues (in fetal position on cabin sole) when he realized his three month epic voyage was over.
