At sea

Moonshadow of London

After an uneventful night, our little stowaway flew off at dawn. The night watches have been almost as bright as day with the moon, huge and glistening, in a dark grey sky.The sun rose behind a band of clouds, so there were rosy pink clouds on the staboard and moonlight on the port bow.
No wind all day yesterday so we motored hoping that the trade winds will arrive soon. We made slow progress because of a 1 knot contrary current.
Last night we had squalls and a lot of rain but still no trade winds though they are forecast for this position on the weather reports we download every day.
We are all in good spirits, reading, sleeping, watching videos and eating well, because the sea state is making it possible to cook.
We are 350 miles into our 800 mile passage.
