An overnight sail brought us to the largest atoll in the archipelago. It is 40 miles long and 17 miles wide and is the most developed with hotels and an airstrip. In the early morning we saw a flock of Sooty Terns fishing on shoals of small fry being chased to the surface of the sea by black tipped reef sharks. We also snorkelled on the reef and saw wonderful coloured fish. It was like swimming in an aquarium.
