Day 8. The wind is becoming unstable and
fluky as we head downwind towards a HUGE wind hole. We're doing well now but
we're trying to carefully plan how we're going to pass through the light area as
fast as possible and back into the stronger trade winds which we've been in for
the past week. Life on board carries on in the same merry way, although the
temperature is increasing making life down below a bit unpleasant. Cooking
is particularly difficult, especially as Pea is healing over quite a bit now and
we've now had our 8th straight day at sea living at a 45 degree
angle.
We're nearly halfway now, and will hopefully sail
the 2nd half as quick as the first, but this wind hole may hinder us somewhat.
Thank you for all your emails. Morale on board is really high but we
all really appreciate your comments and support.

PS. Just had a massive wave sweep over the deck
