just a quick note to say we’ve departed. Left Hampton yesterday at 1600
local ready for our passage to the Azores. The weather immediately turned from
the predicted Force 4-5, into 5-6 gusting 7 – 8. The storm passed in the night
to leave thismorning with confused seas and a steady force 5-6 from the South
West.
We’re generally heading ESE, looking for the gulf stream, it’s heading in
the direction of Europe as it leaves the Gulf here at over 3 knots, we worth the
slight departure to find it.Probably make around 130ish miles today.
