Puerto Montt, sailing
medals and marathon runs.
Our first return port
at Marina del Sur Puerto Montt. Shore
power and lines to a pontoon with all the water we could use. Return to
the Mall, shops of the world and white sliced bread full of preservatives.

The
Puerto Montt Navy Armada Regatta was upon us, mainly big boats, Rodrigus Rochas
at Marina del Sur prepared a single handed race sail boat for little
Morgause.
Invited
aboard the 500 ton ship PSG Micalvi to watch the event from the luxury
of the control bridge. Splendid fun and a tremendous Navy
lunch.
Chilean
Armada Navy Captain, Pablo Muller Contreras presented his international entrant
with a special bound history book of the Chilean Armada Navy, what a
prize!
No
sooner had we recovered the excitement of the regatta than it was time for the
City marathon. Three kilometres for the family run. A
hundred miles of energy later we crossed the line GBR heroes like you do for
orange juice and cereal bars. None of the Chelmorton Chase bacon sandwiches
here.
Some
maintainance in the city, injectors cleaned, oils changed and pipes and filters
afresh. Fuel pump brand new. Shopping in the Mall, life of the City, old friends
and new to find. a retrun to the Guia Scout groups of Imaculate Conception, San
Javier and San Fransico des Asis. Time with the English students at University
San Sebastian. Then end of term school to celebrate the souther hemisphere
year end with so many chums we could have been local.
Moments
to touch the sole with the sisters of the convent of the Carmelites. Special
prayers fro the trip south, friends and friendship around the
World.
