Parked up for a month in Marina Del Sur while awaiting parts for our autopilot from USA. Safely in the hands of the British Consul John Kenyon and Marina Manager Rodrigus Rojas. Time for a trip inland to the mighty Volcano Osorno, snow and chair lifts. Life around Lake LLanahue in the beutiful farmland, meeting the Lamas.

Chile is celebrating 100 years of Guia Girl Guides, we found ourselves representing GBR for birthday parties formal and fun. Honored with the white neckerchief of Chile 100 and a flag blessed at IC. A cathedral service of celebration, jamboree, games to share, songs to sing and badges to swop. So many chums in a family of World Wide friends.

School visits to SJ and IC, English lessons abroad and our own professor teacher Claudio for daily school on board. Readings at the biblotech library and tours of the Museo for the reality of earthquake history that flatened the land here back in 1960.

Time on our hands, the boat re stocked full of food and every maintainance job done, oils injectors & fuel, batteries changed by Gami, Filtors Montt for the filters, hydraulics serviced by Guzman, Ecosub for the aqualungs, sails repaired and canopies new.

A blessing by Father Hernan Monardes to see us away, fit and ready for the Pacific.
