Sign post painting

Close to the end of Patagonia it was time for a last adventure, we turned a little East into Valac Passage for Canal Refugio and a beautiful route between the narrows. Sun in the shade of three thousand feet mountains that all touched the clouds. Streaks of white rock in the dark grey walls of stone, waterfalls tumbling from the sky line.

Breaks On! Approaching Largo Island Puerto Santo. A signpost in the rock!

Passing yachts had climbed the steep bare slab wall to paint their names as calling cards. Dingy dispatched to join the list. ‘Hollinsclough GBR 2009’ in red paint set in the middle of a history of travel.
