.Whoopee!

We made it to England.

We slipped the moorings Port St. Mary, Isle of Man at 0615 this morning for our final big sail and arrived in Fleetwood, Lancashire at 2000hrs.

This area of the country has quite a rise and fall in the tide and many of the coastal areas become mudflats when the tide goes out. So it's a case of waiting for high tide before you negotiate entering harbors. Also to keep water in the marinas they need lock gates so you can  imagine getting to a marina under those conditions can be quite a challenge. So that's why we are at Fleetwood behind lock gates waiting for tides to head over to Glasson tomorrow.
