This is a picture taken this morning at 0300 EST as we have not set the clocks back.
 
 
 
You can see how calm the seas are. I'm sorry to keep whining about the conditions as they are many who would just love the seas today, in fact they would be wondrful for us if we were going any direction but East.
 
Hooray!!  It's 1045 and we're beating to the East at 5 kts 1 reef in the main and 2/3 jib. We must have gotten into the Azores high.
 
 
We are now heading for Lajes, Flores 518 mls to the east. We have 20 plus  gals of diesel (40 hrs running) and plenty of food and water.
 
Roll on Lajes and a shower.
 
Did I mention that there is no shower on the Henry Wood. which has led us to come up with an interesting game....see who can stay up wind from the other the longest...wins.
