This is yesterdays blog we were either in bed or steering most of the day and I couldn't get to the computer.

It's a wonderful day out here if you just want to enjoy the view. Those who may own a pontoon party boat could enjoy mid Atlantic today and not even spill the manhattans. But it's no good for sailing and we've been running on diesel all day. The only breath of wind here is directly on the nose. We have had sails up and down engine on and off and even tried the cruising chute, but all to no avail so we're sticking with the diesel at the moment. We considered inflating the dingy and towing the HW, but neither of us were keen to draw straws for the honour and the galley slave didn't show for work today.

I was wondering if the Presbyterian at Woodbury and the Quilters at Wenonah (sounds like minding Ps and Qs) could work your magic and request some fair weather before we run out of diesel. Fingers crossed!

For you young folks who are following the blog Riley, Christopher, Emma, Gillian, Darby, Misses Peyton and Tatum and of course Mr Liam of Swedesboro. We saw many dolphin who stayed with us for a while and a couple of sharks. Then today we saw 2 turtles This is a picture of one of them.

The Skippers tummy is growling and has decided to become Chef Extraordinaire and try his hand at baking bread. Once again I was able to experience some of the local Lancashire dialect when the yeast went missing only to be found later sopping wet.
in the sink. This was of a minor set back for the Galloping Gourmet of the sea. And just look at the finished product.

Not sure about the _expression_ on the second picture  "Manna to the soul be given"?

We are discussing changing the port when in the Azores from Herat to Flores. It's 132 miles closer and with the diesel situation it may be wise. Stay tuned!
