We slipped our moorings at Canyon Club Marina, Cape May NJ at 1110
yesterday. There was a break in the fog and we were able to navigate the
channel out of there. But once out in the ocean we were in 200yard
visibility again. So much time spent in the radar, listening for fog horns,
dodging fishing boats, sailing and motoring all for about 80 miles progress
and only 2083 miles to go.
We are North of a low trying to go east into a weak eastely breeze...not
optimum conditions so we are still motoring.
This is quite a challenge typing in an easy 10' swell. I hope you are able
to make sense of it.
