Two Weeks 39:06.22N 54:15.56W

It's hard to believe that it's 2 weeks since we left Greenwich, NJ and we are now coming up on the half way point to the Azores. we did 150 miles in the last 24 hrs which makes almost 300 in the last 48 wow.
We are starting our 3 day running in high seas with 3 reefs in and little jib. The speed comes at a cost, having to move about the boat hand hold to hand hold is very exhausting.
 
We hove to at 1445 as there looked like some squalls approaching. These never amounted to anything so we got underway again 1545 only to have all wind drop out BAH! So at the moment we have the engine on charging the batteries and pushing us on a little.
 
 
I have no excuse for the bad grammar and spelling mistakes in these posts, but as you can see being strapped in to use the keyboard should warrant an excuse for the occasional typo
