We are still at The Isle of Man. Yacht Haika and crew returned to the UK and we hope to head over this evening, ready for a 0915 docking in Glasson on Sunday 19th.

So we will have 4 of us on the sail to the UK and as close as we are it's still can be a naughty bit of Irish Sea to cross.

We spent a night in Northern Ireland at a place called Ardglass. A really quaint harbor and a wonderful old Irish pub.

We left there for Peel on the Isle of Man, home of the motorcycle TT Races.

I'm staying with some friends of Melvin's in a small place called Andreas and
they were able to locate a motorcycle for me so I was able to ride the TT course
here. What a thrill although I was a little slower that the average lap speed of 130+ MPH.

We went out to the local pub where the teenage daughter of the folks I'm staying with
waitresses. I sampled queenies which are a small scallop. They were very nice and sweeter
than ours in the States.

The Island is a beautiful place about 30 x 12 miles with 80,000 people 45,000 who live in
Douglas the capital.
