I sent off a couple of e-mails today to boats that are planning trips to the UK about the same time as us.

One Northstar, is leaving from the New York area and the other Aquila, will be heading out from Norfolk. It'll be nice if we are able to have a chat before we all set sail.

I spent an hour, to no avail, trying to find out what a US citizen needs to do before departing the USA on a sailboat. So far the computer has been little help and a few phone calls were even worse. Seems like they just want to shove me from one desk to another.
