We arrived back in Gran Canaria on Tuesday afternoon after a wonderful six weeks in Florida with our adorable grandsons... and their lovely parents. Kevin and Lise very kindly fetched us from the airport and took us back to the boat. They stayed on board while we were away and we are very grateful to them for looking after our 'home' so well. We then helped them load their bags as they went to stay in Las Palmas for a few nights before heading out on the next stage of their journey. We had four good months together with them as crew and it was quite surreal to say good-bye... all the very best to you both!

We bought a whole lot of boat parts back with us and will keep you posted as we progress with our maintenance jobs and repairs. You will see a brief post below this one with our position... we managed to tame the Redbox... thanks to Stephen, and we did this as a test earlier. We will now be able to send you brief updates ourselves on the Atlantic crossing in January!
