Late start, we weighed anchor and motored around to Gouvia marina, tied up stern to. Check was officially 2pm but we got in early. I had called the technician, Frangiskos (Frank), half an hour prior as previously organised, to come to the
boat and check the anchor sensor and AA560 console. After organising the boat we connected power and water. Frank arrived around 2 pm and got to work. It took 3 or 4 hours and finally he succeeded in getting the anchor sensor reporting rode to the AA560 console.
The issue being the new sensor was a 3 wire connection, however the cable from the anchor sensor back to the console was a 2 wire cable, hence the new sensor would not work. The original sensor was replaced and connected. To upgrade to the new sensor would
require mousing a new 3 wire cable from the anchor, through the boat an up the pedestal to the console. Not an easy job. We started to prepare for Joe and Siriporn's departure tomorrow afternoon, cleaning, washing etc. In the evening we walked into the local
area of Kontokali, had a beer at local pub then dinner at Zorba restaurant. Incredibly good food and very much value for money. View from our anchorage at Garista bay, last night A fair bit for Pon to tackle! Mixed grill at Zorba restaurant. Great value for money at Zorbas
