What's happening at home? Family news
While we lads hav been exploring the Inner Hebrides, life has been going on for everyone else. Cate is still in Canada, having a wonderful time with new baby grandson Alek, mummy Noelle and daddy Jeff, and doing the Calgary Stampede and cycling the Rockies with Keith. Comms have been difficult, but I have been able to receive a few pictures.
I have spoken a couple of times with my bairns. Lucy and Rob's house sale is all but through, and they have been selling or packing all their goods for the migration to Perth (Oz, not Scotland). Grace has just got straight As in her end of term school report, and Frankie tells me Katie has also had an excellent end of year report. I haven't managed to get a call to Matthew for a while, but I think he is in transit between Chile and Brazil as I write. I gather from Cate that all is OK with Leigh and Ale at Taverners, though the house may soon become a bit crowded if the Furnesses find themselves in need of temporary home while they await the Big Day!
Anyway, we have now weighed anchor and are moving on in our Hebridean Adventure, so that's all for now.
