We are still in Baddeck as yesterday was wet and windy. Trish and I
spent the day at our favourite cafe with an excursion to the Alexander
Graham Bell museum. This was the town he lived in and where he worked on
many of his inventions including the telephone. He was also very
interested in airplanes and hydrofoils. The first plane to fly in Canada
was built and flown here with his help. We both learnt a lot we didn't
know about a very interesting person. Today we have stocked up on
food, fuel and water and are full to the gunnels. It was no hardship
though as two Bald Eagles kept us company as we worked. The forecast
tomorrow is looking good and we will head north to New Foundland if it
all proves true.
