This is our 7th day here and we are dying to get away! We filled in the day by re-provisioning, hardware shopping, banking and internet. Having heard that the local Land Rover agent was the best stocked in Africa, I decided to buy a spare fuel lift pump, which was quite a mission.  It took them 45 minutes to identify the part, then another 30 minutes to find out if they had one in stock (they did).  In the middle of all this the lights went out and the computer system crashed.  After nearly two hours I had an invoice, paid for the part and walked away with it.  I can't say I am very impressed by Land Rover's representation in Africa.
