We were at the Angolan Embassy an hour before they opened this morning but it paid off as we were processed #2 and #3.  We had all the forms already filled in and all the copy documents and photos ready. We can collect the visas at 1100 on Wednesday and then we will be free to go on our way.

 

The rest of the day is set aside for battery charging, emails and shopping,

 

The camping area is thinning out;  The young Belgian bikers left on Saturday, Jorg the German biker has moved into the hotel and Andrew and Claudia left this morning to be escorted to the border, the penalty of entering Nigeria at a minor border post and not getting an entry stamp.  Still, we are expecting Tom Peacock and Fran this evening in their Land Rover.  We are all now looking to form groups of 4x4s to do the difficult road sections ahead.
