As we crossed into Ghana it was a great relief to speak English again and to find a more advanced and organised administration - even computers in Immigration!  However, it is not a very scenically interesting country and our first week was clouded by the presence of the Harmattan dust in the air so everything looked drab and gloomy.  Accra is a big, busy, congested city with not much beauty but has most things readily available.

 

The star attraction of Ghana, for us, was the visit to the far southwest and to Green Turtle Beach.  That area is much lusher and the beaches are clean, white and deserted.  Green Turtle Lodge is a hidden paradise.
