Day 98 - Progress check
It is now 14 weeks since we left the UK and, based on
our planned duration of 21 weeks, we are now at the two thirds
stage.
We entered Nigeria a couple of days late on our Plan but
we shall probably enter Cameroon on the planned date, 13 February, so we shall
be back on Plan. We have driven 15,500 km out of a projected total of
24,000 so we have covered two thirds of the total distance. The
next few thousand km will probably be much more difficult than we have driven so
far, but overall we are pretty happy with our progress. The unknown factor in
the next few weeks will be rain, which could severely affect
progress.
