The Mackeral was spectacular, well the small bit we have managed to eat so far. pan fried with ginger, garlic and mango chutney. thai green curry, etc etc. might take some time to finisih the lot especialy as we have to eat all the other meat and veg before we get into brisbane. Freezer is not big enough for us to catch another fish yet. Shame, I was looking fwd to one last mahi mahi.
The weather has been awsome but the wind has deserted us so we have turned on donkey(main engine). Looking at the gribs(weather data) its going to be light to nothing for today/tomorow then some wind to drive us into brisbane. Carrying lots of fuel for just this reason.
The ships time is now in line with brisbane. less than 591nm to go. as of 930am 16/2
When asked for a quote for the blog darren replied "Love it" With a strange gesture of his arms and his head held back. Vuda pointers will understand it.
