After several days of tacking and a day of motoring we have now set our course for Channel Islands Harbor and home.
We have had one more breakdown to contend with which is that the boom furling line has become jammed, making it difficult to adjust the mainsail. We have spoken with the manufacturer, Furlerboom in Denmark, and a fix will have to wait until we are back in harbor. But we have only 650 miles to go and the weather forecast looks good for the next few days so we should still be able to make safe passage home.
