After the excitement of Thursday night we have had a smooth 24 hours with good sailing during the day under twin poled-out headsails with the wind dead astern. Last night the wind veered to a beam reach which gave us faster sailing and a refreshing breeze down below. The perfect beam winds continued through the night and into this morning, giving everyone a great night with plenty of opportunities to catch up on sleep.
