We are approaching the Tropic of Cancer at 23 degrees north. The last thousand miles have been the toughest of the passage so far as we have had to be constantly sailing hard on the wind to avoid being pushed out westward. Constantly being on a steep heel is tough on the crew and the boat and we need to monitor the bilge water as there is water coming in through the sail locker when we get green water on deck.
