The last 24h have been a bit rough on all sorts of levels... the winds have finally found us and we have been a bit thrown about, which is never pleasant. We have a big following sea. You can hear the roar crescendo and it always feels like the next wave will fill the cockpit, but you can't help looking over your shoulder. As for the wind it is averaging at 21/22 with gusts in the 25knots. Still it is not raining, beautiful sunshine and very hot. The forecast is for a couple of days of these sporty conditions then for it to die down and then comes the ugly blow. As mentioned before, we have a couple of routers, plus some friends looking at the weather for us on shore advising on strategy... we've gone for the head west option and hoping for the best. Sounds like a western movie and feels like a real rodeo at the moment!
