Not quite the passage we were expecting, but by the same token the alternative of big seas, big waves, and big winds is not so appealing from our plodding 10 knots of wind and boat speed of 4/5 knots.

Plenty time to relax, sleep, eat, read, listen to podcasts, chat, (well that's for us crew, the skipper is busy with weather, navigation and re[airs etc) all this in a very confortable way. The rigging noise is kept to a minimum, and the motion of the boat is soothing rather than scary. And we have the most fabulous sunsets and sunrises as well as moonrises, blood red and huge on the horizon. This morning's sunrise was particularly beautiful, no clouds around.

Unfortunately, the fishing has not been as successful as first thought, had a huge catch on the 2nd day, which managed to escape, thankfully, as it was too big for us to deal with. something had another bite yesterday and proceeded to take string and lure with it. Lucky the fishing rod was well secured... it could have made of with it too!

The wind is supposed to fill in later today... we are waiting with bated breath!
