Race 1

Great breeze, sun and a rolling sea.  From the start JD was on the pace, really close racing and a third place finish after corrected time.  Top start to the regatta.

Race 2

Breeze dropping but still in JD range, first beat and downwind legs were on the ball.  Rounding the leeward mark the wind started to fade and |JD started to drop back…the windward mark we had lost 4 places and lots to do…….an exciting downwind leg and we finished ninth on corrected time.

Day one and we are in 6^th place with only 1 point separating 3^rd to 6^th…..tomorrow will be an interesting day; at the moment the forecast is light….light…..light !
