Having seen the Pulpit Rock from Jammy Dodger, we were determined to climb up to
it. We caught a 09.30 ferry and coach up to “Preikestolen
Hytte”, where the 4km hike to the top begins. A good tough climb, took 90
mins to get up, but well worth it.

Sunday 5 June
Goodbye to Danuta, Steve and Mick, who caught the
coach to Haugesund and flew back to UK with Ryanair.
Visit from Randi and Ida, who kindly took the empty
Norwegian gas bottle off for a refill.
Jammy Dodger
will now stay in Stavanger until Neil arrives on
Thursday 9th, then heading off on Friday for Leg 5 to Haugesund, Hardanger
Fjord and Bergen.
The specialised carbon sail cloth needed for the sail repairs should be with
the sailmaker on Monday, so sails should be ready to refit when Neil
arrives.
