Christmas Day on the beautiful little island of Contadora in the Pearl Islands dawned and the weather was just perfect - no snow thankfully!  just wall to wall sunshine, a light breeze, temperatures around 35 degrees C.  We started the day by swimming ashore and doing a  run around the island (sounds impressive but the island is only about a mile from one end to the other!)  Then back to the boat, several swims later, one which included a close encounter with a pack of hunting devil rays then a few early Christmas sundowners and Syd set about cooking a very impressive Christmas dinner.
