Journey to Venezuela - 2nd day

48 hours and 316miles on so we're doing much better than
expected, but the wind dropped an hour or so ago which might mean it takes
another 2 days to get there !!
It was a lively night with gusts of up to 25kts so we put a
reef in the Genoa and 2 in the main, but it was quite a bumpy sea and quite a
few of the hatches were leaking, or not closed in time, so there are wet patches
all round the boat.
We had a bird sitting on our guardrail most of the night but
apart from that haven't seen another soul or ship.
All well and sound.
