Oops, suddenly realised that we had not updated our position for a little while....
Well, since leaving Martha's Vineyard, we headed up through the Cape Cod Canal to Provincetown and spent last weekend in Boston which was a really fun place. We did the "Duck Tour" which is a sightseeing tour of the City on a World War II amphibious landing vehicle (very touristy and an absolute scream) followed by the requisite visit to the "Cheers" Bar - for those of you who remember Sam Malone from the 80's sitcom, it was very nostalgic !!!
We are now in Newburyport which is home to our cruising buddies, Roger & Amy from s/v Shango, who we met in Durban and who also completed their circumnavigation this year. It has been really nice to catch up with them and to hear how they are adapting back into "normal" life as we will be doing the same (probably) next year...
The next stop on our agenda is a little place called Gosport (New Hampshire, USA not Hampshire, UK) and then on to Portsmouth. You can see why they call this area "New England".......
Archie is settling into life on El Vagabond really well although he is still testing out his new teeth on Basil's ears as well as Roger's arms !!
