Sunshine at last !!!
After a 29 day passage we are enjoying putting our
feet up in the Gambier Islands and lapsing back into "Nothing to do and all day
to do it" mode.
The sail from Chile got a little lively in the end
with gales lasting for a solid 6 days which unfortunately meant that we could
not anchor at Pitcairn but, hey, you can't have everything and we will just have
to eat our 'Bounty Bars' here in French Polynesia instead...
We are guessing that we were not a pretty
sight on Saturday evening as we fulfilled our "at Sea" fantasy by
gourging ourselves on Chip Baguette Butties oozing with butter and washed down
with Beer not long after our arrival !!!
