We made it !!!
After 1,642 miles and 14 days and 23 hours sailing
from Mauritius, we have arrived safely in Durban, South
Africa.
We obtained the important piece of paper that
says the Department of Agriculture have agreed the boys can be imported within 4
hours of arrival so all the hassle we incurred in
Darwin trying to get a Permit organised has paid off.... it was lovely to see
them running around on the pontoon - their first time on land for over 2
months.
Having been travelling at Sea for 62 of the
last 68 days (6 in Mauritius), it is great to be able to relax and,
hopefully, get a decent night's sleep.... We are also very cheap dates as a
couple of beers are sufficient to make us quite happy after so long on the
wagon !!
